Jessie and John
We had a lot of fun hanging out with John and Jessie (and Tyson and Olive, their dogs) at Golden Gardens park.

We are really looking forward to photographing their wedding, which is today (!)-- June 29th.

Adrienne and Romeo, June 16th
Adrienne and Romeo got married at her childhood home in Kenmore. It was very sweet. Here are the favors ready to go out to the tables (please click on any picture to see it larger):

Adrienne's Mom and Mom-in-law-to-be help her get into her dress:

I just love this picture of Adrienne watching the processional:

And this one of her Mom watching her Dad give her away:

The happy couple:

I "stole" their rings for a couple of creative still-lifes. Here they are on the altar.

The reception:

Congratulations, Adrienne and Romeo! We hope to see you again soon.

Bridget and Chris, June 10th
Bridget and Chris had their wedding and reception at
The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle.
Stephanie Bonnington, of NW Bridal Consultants, was their very organized coordinator, although unfortunately she said that she was no longer going to be doing weddings.
I loved the green vests that the guys wore:

Chris and Bridget had been planning not to see each other before the wedding, but decided it would be easier logistically if they did. So we planned a little first meeting outside the hotel under the trellis. They were very cute together:

Although they had already seen each other, Bridget had a special veil that she put on for the ceremony. Chris had not seen the veil before. I just loved the way it framed her face and contrasted with her dark hair. Her beautiful flowers were by I Do Floral Design.

Their ceremony was in a ballroom overlooking the sea.

Their wedding night suite at the hotel was amazing, with such a huge bathroom that I took them in there for some pictures (!).

Bridget and Chris have their first dance while her Mom and Dad look on.

The reception was filled with toasts and fun and more dancing.

Congratulations, Chris and Bridget!

Happy Anniversary, Genie and Heidi!
Genie and Heidi got married on Bainbridge Island, at a private residence. Their dogs, Toby and Flea, were the ring bearers. It was a relaxed and touching ceremony.

Happy Anniversary, Jeannine and Mike!
Mike and Jeannine got married at the
Bear Creek Country Club on July 15th, 2006:

During the reception, there was some great dancing and karaoke too. We got to work with Matthew Woolman of
Puget Sound DJ Services, who was one of the best DJ's we have see (or heard) at a wedding.

Happy Anniversary, Mike Jeannine! I hope you had a great first year together!

Andrea and Justin, June 7th
We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Justin and Andrea's wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Everyone was so relaxed, the ceremony was sweet, the light perfect, the guests happy. We started in the super cool
Blu by Len Salon (Margaritas on the house), where the girls got their hair done:

The guys hanging out after getting dressed:

Getting creative with the rings:

Andrea brought parasols for the formals-- I love how they go with the covered wood hallway:

The light in Mexico was so extraordinarily pure. Here is Andrea waiting to walk down the aisle. I loved this moment because she is unaware of the camera and just anticipating the ceremony:

The ceremony in the gazebo was so sweet:

The party was rocking:

Andrea and Justin having some romantic moments:

After seeing her pictures, Andrea said, "You two really are a dynamic couple and everyone loved working with you. Don't be surprised if down the road a few of my friends call you up for their destination wedding. All I hear is that we looked liked we stepped out of a magazine ad! I love it!! I really hope some day in the future we get to work with you again. I do plan on ordering a few pics in the metallic paper on my day off on Friday, can't wait to see them.
I can't say it enough, THANK YOU!"
Thank you, Andrea, for a beautiful wedding. We wish you and Justin all the best!

Mexico 2
For the second two nights, we stayed at
Dreams Resort and Spa, where the wedding was held. Dreams was an all-inclusive resort, and it was so relaxing. Bob and I were not able to take full advantage of it, though, as we don't drink enough :) -- they do love their tequila there. We did share a very yummy strawberry Margerita one night, though. And had 3 desserts. At 2 restaurants.

Mexico 1
After we photographed Suzy and Eric's wedding, we flew off to
Puerto Vallarta for Andrea and Justin's wedding. Andrea found us on the web (maybe through
WPJA), and we were very glad she had, as Mexico was so much fun. We left a couple days early, so we ould explore just a little bit. The first couple of nights, we stayed at the
Westin:

Bob models for me :)

We strolled along the
Malecon, which had beautiful sandcastles and sculptures:

It was hard to tell whether we were working or on vacation :). More Mexico pictures in the next post and then Andrea and Justin's wedding.

Suzy and Eric, June 2nd
Suzy and Eric got married at the Eatonville Baptist Church and had their reception at the Ohop Grange in Eatonville. (Please click on the pictures to see them larger.)
Their rings:

The groomsmen and bridesmaids all wore different colors, which also matched the color scheme of the invitiations-- a great touch.

Their ceremony was very sweet:

Eric's grandmother, Caroline Schactler, made Suzy's amazing dress:

The reception was totally fun and laidback. Eric is a dancer, and they danced beautifully together:

The End:

Congratulations, Suzy and Eric!

Bevin and Chris
We got to hang out and take some pictures of Bevin and Chris at
Carkeek Park. Chris and Bevin are getting married April 12th, 2008. Bevin and Chris are a fun and loving couple who found us through Jessica and Max, whose wedding we photographed last year. Here are some pictures from their session (please click on a picture to see it larger):

We are glad you love your pictures, Bevin and Chris, and we can't wait for your wedding next year!
