Happy Anniversary, Laura and John!
Laura and John had their wedding celebration at
A Country Location, a beautiful site just outside of Seattle. It turned out to be a glorious day, just perfect for their outdoor ceremony.

Happy one-year anniversary, Laura and John! I know this past year has been great for you two.

Happy Anniversary, Leia and Will!
Leia and Will got married at
The Magnolia Hall in Arlington.
The guys enjoyed having their own place in which to get ready:

It was such a sweet and personal ceremony:

Leia and Will danced the night away:

Happy Anniversary, Shirley and Derek!
Shirley and Derrick got married at the
St. Madeline Sophie Church in Bellevue.

Then we went to the
Bellevue Botanical Garden for some group pictures:

Their reception was at the gorgeous
Woodmark Hotel, where we got to do some fun couple pictures on the dock:

Happy one-year anniversary, Shirley and Derrick! I hope your first year was great!

Claudia and Rafe
We will be photographing Claudia and Rafe's wedding tomorrow at
Thornwood Castle, but a couple of weeks ago, we got to go out with them to
Volunteer Park to take some fun engagement pictures. Volunteer Park has lots of great picture opportunities right there in front of the
Seattle Asian Art Museum (where Bob and I got married :)).

We can't wait for your wedding tomorrow, Rafe and Claudia! See you soon.

Kara and Peter, July 5th
Kara and Peter met in kickboxing class. I got the feeling that neither of them expected to find love, and then all of a sudden, there it was. They had their ceremony on Kara's parent's property in
Woodinville-- a gorgeous place out amongst the farmland. Kara and Peter are a gentle and loving couple, quirky and expressive.
They had their first meeting on the photogenic bridge across the pond:

I just love this picture of Kara's Dad holding up the back of her dress before she walks down the aisle
(remember that you can click on any picture to see it larger):

Kara sang a beautiful song to Peter during the ceremony. Kara's two boys participated in the ceremony, not only being in charge of the rings, but also helping to pour the sand mixture that symbolized their relationship. They were very interested in and did a great job during the ceremony.

Kara loves frogs, and their frog theme suited the setting perfectly. I couldn't resist a portrait of a frog holding up their rings. The kids also loved the frog theme.

Kara's Dad's workshed was transformed into a perfect little dance space, where Kara, Peter and their guests danced the night away.

Congratulations, Peter and Kara!
